This Privacy Policy applies to information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit or use our website www.emeals.com and the eMeals mobile application ("Site"), and any other related eMeals websites, mobile applications, email list subscriptions, meal plan content subscriptions, and other features and communications (collectively, "Services"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any website, application, content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site or any other Services.

We may use de-identified or aggregated non-personal information collected from your use of the eMeals Site and Services to improve the content and functionality of our Site and Services, and in connection with measurements, analytics, and advertising relationships with our partners. One such example would be to understand where our customers live in order to evaluate potential partnerships or the addition of certain meal plan offerings.

eMeals does not sell your information. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your information with certain third parties without further notice to you, such as in the following examples:

Service Providers: We use other third party companies and contractors (“Service Providers”) to perform services for us or to assist in marketing, research, advertising, communications, infrastructure, and IT services in the course of providing our Services to you.

Promotional Offers: We may offer joint marketing promotions that, in order for you to participate, will require that we share your information with third parties. By participating in these joint promotions, you agree to our sharing of your information. Please note that we do not control the privacy practices of any third-party businesses or guarantee that their practices are similar to ours.

Business Transfer: We may transfer your information due to a reorganization, restructuring, merger, sale, or other transfer of eMeals, our business or assets. We reserve the right to transfer our information, including your personal information, provided that the receiving party agrees to respect your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Social Media Services: If you choose to connect and share information from our Site or Services to a social media network, the information you share is then subject to the social media service’s privacy policy.

Legal Requirements: eMeals may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect the rights, property or safety of eMeals, our customers or others.

Others with access to your account: If you choose to share your account with other parties, they may have access to any of your personal information.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

Either eMeals or our Service Providers may use cookies in your web browser or utilize tracking pixels to analyze or enhance the use of our Site and Services. These cookies don’t collect information from your computer, but may be used to record information that you have submitted to us. One example of our use of cookies is to enable our Site to remember who you are from visit to visit.

You can erase and block these cookies using the features available on your web browser. However, should you do this, it is possible that portions of the site may not function properly or at all.

eMeals allows third-party advertisers that are presenting ads on our behalf to set and access cookies on your web browser. The advertisers’ use of cookies or tracking pixels is subject to their own privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

If you don’t want to receive emails from us, you can simply “Unsubscribe” via a link in the email. However, there are certain administrative emails from which you can’t unsubscribe, such as service notifications and emails related to your financial transactions with us. You may, however, opt out of informational updates and from the weekly electronic delivery of our meal plans.

Our mobile app will prompt you to opt in to receive push notifications. If you later decide you don’t want to receive push notifications, you can disable them on the devices receiving the notifications.

Right to Access Your Information

You have access to and the ability to update a broad range of your personal information through the member area of our Site. However, if you ever have questions about the Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact .

Exclusions

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Information collected by eMeals other than the personal information collected through the Site and Services. It does not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to eMeals through the Services or any other means, which includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Services or to related forums or social media sites. All unsolicited information is deemed non-confidential and eMeals will be free to reproduce, use, and disclose such information without limitation or attribution.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, physical and managerial measures to protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site. Given the global nature of our society, eMeals conducts business globally, which may result in the transfer of your information internationally. Therefore, by using eMeals you acknowledge and agree to the transfer of your information outside of your country of residence to any country (including the United States) where we have facilities or Service Providers. California Consumer Privacy Act

For residents of California, this section supplements the other portions of this Privacy Policy and explains the types of personal information we collect, use and share along with certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA").

To provide the features of our Site and services of eMeals we process personal information whether or not you are logged into our Services.
